Bottom Feeders

My dad was defeated in the runoff. But before you start feeling sorry for him, let me share his reaction: "Let them have the $#!*." Now, he didn't say this angrily or dejectedly, but matter-of-factly. So, you be the judge. Was he referring to
  1. the current coucil members and their troubles over a sewer system for the town--phase 1 has been completed and phase 2 is waiting on a "promised" 100,000 or so in grant money from the state of Alabama (I'm sure we could all think of better things to do with a few hundred grand)
    -or-
  2. all the people who were promised free food at Bobby's (a local, over-priced catfish restaurant) if they voted for his opponent?

I think they both might apply quite well to the situation.

I'm completely baffled. Your dad would have had my vote, hands down. He should have shown everyone how skilled he is on the exercise ball.

I agree with Kristin! I would've voted for him sheerly based on that video!
